Rickster42
Ok, this was a job I did the other day.A early 04 6.0 comes in runs rough(idle). P2285 - check icp sensor & connector - icp leaking and icp pid .32v koeo. Replaced icp & connector. R/tested - wicked turbo surge on decel. Did TSB 07-16-01 for turbo clean - cleaned turbo and retested and was fine. My time on the repair was 4.8 the turbo tsb pays 6.4hr. How would you have flagged this repair in your shop? TIA
Alex Bruene
In MY shop, there would have been a second line added for the turbo surge issue after the repair of the ICP sensor and connector. So I would have done the ICP repair, then repaired the turbo (if my service manager thought the surge was severe enough to warrant an add on). Overlap does not apply IMO, since the two repairs were not ( /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif ) done at the same time.

Rickster42
thanks guys, looks like it was my fault for not getting an additional line written on the ro. Won`t happen again...
DamageINC
Also, the Turbo TSB times have been "adjusted" by our friends over at SLTS and you only get like 4 hrs for it anyway anymore, so that could have very well been the case here. Tony302600
Thats 4 hours if its after a certain build date, and still 6.4 if you cant use the tool i think. Our shop is the same as alex
