I also use a Fluke transducer (PV 350, IIRC) for most of my testing. I understood that Fluke had discontinued them but my MAC dealer was able to get me one within the last 6 months. It also removes the risk of pressurized liquids inside the cab.

I think that some of the scope manfacturers also have transducers. The Fluke was $300 plus the couplers (I use the quick couplers that come in fuel injection test kits).

I guess I am one of the few here. I have a Fluke PVT but I stopped using it years ago. I think its in pieces in the bottom of a drawer somewhere. Personally, I thought it was a pain in the ass because I was always screwing around with adapters. The gage bar, while probably not extremely accurate has never let me down AND I like the fact that I can check two or three things at once if needed. I am thinking of making a custom gage bar so that I can monitor two points for pressure and one for vacuum/inlet restriction.

Great minds think alike! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif The body is an old air brake manifold from a cabover IH tractor. It has multiple 1/4" FNPT holes bored through it. The coat hanger is (obviously) for hanging it from the outside mirror.

PS: The nylon gauge bar lines should be 1/8", right? They should be available from any auto parts store as an oil gauge installation kit, right? I know I've bought them for $2-3 before with 10' of tube and brass compression to 1/8" NPT fittings.

Good Luck!
