Keith Browning
Thought we had seen the last of this but since updating my IDS to 51 I have been getting Testman errors requiring IDS o shut down. The IDS update also required me to update my computers .net software. Since then auto-update has installed several large updates... lets see if that helped. The only reason I am a little pissed is that everything has been working flawlessly until now.

DwayneGorniak
I have been running 51 for almost two weaks and no problems. However Keith, I had that issue about six months ago and what I had to do was totally delete IDS off of my laptop and reload the original DVD, then reload the new updates. The problem was that I had a glitch in the internet connection when it happened and it did not load the program properly. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/2cents.gif
Keith Browning
That is similar to what I was told. I asked a Hotline engineer (it's not their job to know the software) who knew about these errors and said it was likely de to a poor Internet conn3ection or corrupt file as you mentioned. He suggested Removing and reinstalling too. When I have time. I have always downloaded the updates at home and burned them to a disk but this time I let it download directly at work. Apparently not a great idea. Took an hour at work, takes less than 5 min at home! Work is a broadband connection but with a lot of security and routers. DwayneGorniak
We run two wireless routers at work and I run one at home. All my downloads are done wirelessly and they are extremely fast. I never have issues that way. My laptop lives on wireless connections. But you never know what's going with the other end at the internet service providers. This also happened to our shop's IDS and that one has a hard wired connection.
