Steve Mutter Posted October 27, 2007 Share Posted October 27, 2007 we have see 3 or 4 in the last 2 months(most on 2005),truck will not start,ipr will be at 84% and icp will be at 20 psi or something very low,last one we had all it took was to hit it like a starter and they the truck starts to build icp and then starts,is this something you guys see alot of ? we don't do a shit load of diesel so to me this seems odd Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Keith Browning Posted October 27, 2007 Share Posted October 27, 2007 I have not seen many IPR failures that were due to the valve itself on a 6.o. Usually I find debris on the screen or the screen is damaged or missing! This requires replacing the pump and I believe it is recommended by for to automatically replace the pump if damage to the screen is discovered.
