kevin phillips Posted November 10, 2007 Share Posted November 10, 2007 have a 05 f550 came in blowing white smoke and degas overflow replaced egr and oil cooler no help replaced head gaskets heads checked ok for flatness still squealing from degas bottle, no overheating but building alot of pressure in jug(enough to blow your hand off of degas bottle in 10 seconds or so) even at idle.anyone ever see a cracked head cause this or have any ideas thanks after gaskets on heads white smoke stopped Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Keith Browning Posted November 23, 2007 Share Posted November 23, 2007 Kevin we have had a few trucks with cracked heads causing injectors to fail. Apparently combustion gasses are getting into the fuel rail taking them out. These were all 2006's I think.
