Keith Browning
Anyone experiencing turbo flutter on 2008 trucks? I noticed some trucks will on sudden deceleration but it's a smooth rushing sound, not the bouncy rush like the 6.0L's. I have also noticed this on F550's pulling hills with a steady throttle but that is a cycling release of boost.
DamageINC
I'm pretty sure that some turbo flutter on decel and during shut-off events is a very common characteristic of these vehicles if the decel/shit off is done DURING a regen process.. Keith Browning
Dave I have also noticed that turbo flutter increases during regen. It doesn't take much either. I noticed it backing a truck out of the shop to let it continue with regen so that I could finish my diag. Kinda annoying when a truck decides it's time while you are running tests and making recordings. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif
