There used to be a article with pics on 2003 to 2007 super duty cab removals on dts before, but i can't find it now.

I never have done it before but I need to do it in the next few weeks.

Maybe someone can post the procedure or give me some tips on what to do

Thanks

Bill

Bill, there was never an article or instructions on removing cabs from pre-2008 truck on this web site. I had once considered posting one and had even taken pictures for doing so including the Econoline. I decided against it for liability reasons and the fact that it had already been done. You might be thinking of the procedure posted at FlatRateTech.com which is where I originally saw it. I am not sure where it is exactly as I haven't been to that web site in months... or any of it's spin-offs for that matter. Perhaps someone can provide a direct link to it if it still exists. I have no problem with a link or a file upload here in these forums... I just wont publish or post it where the general public can access it.

Yeah, thats the one, I think. That is missing a lot of text. I remember printing one out as a guide on my first one. I forgot that FRT has spun-off several new sites and attempted several reincarnations...

I thought it was better than that. There was also a guy on the PTS message boards "advertising" his instructions. He's actually a member, I remember inviting him but haven't seen him since... I don't think. There are too many members to remember unless you are an active poster! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif If you guys really need this I'll track him down and ask for it for inclusion here.

I wouldn't reccomend taking those three brake lines loose, it's not neccesary. I don't take any drain plugs out of the block either, I have a fluid evacuator and once the heads are off you can get more coolant out of the block than conventional methods.
