Bruce Amacker
This is a two-part question: First, does anybody have the PN for the o-ring where the swivel fitting mates to the "W" HP manifold (2005)? The Ford dealer says it is not serviced and a complete manifold must be purchased. I thought this was serviced separately. Second, are you guys using the ZTSE 4725 male hex socket to remove the adapter, or have you figured out a better way? Thanks!
LARRY BRUDZYNSKI
Bruce /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/scratchhead.gif, Is this the fitting between the HP pump and the 9J332 line? In the breakdown it calls out HM5, which is a W301727 fitting. It doesn't show a oring serviced seperately. I wonder...does this fitting come with the HP pump? If not then I would suspect that the oring would come in the HP install kit 9G804.
Keith Browning
I didn't know that was serviceable. Ford has told us (at our dealer anyway) that if we have a leak there to replace the manifold. If this is wrong then I am about to learn something but I cant see buying a socket for something I will probably never replace. Who knows! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/shrug.gif
Bruce Amacker
Bruce /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/scratchhead.gif, Is this the fitting between the HP pump and the 9J332 line? No, it's the swivel fitting on the HP manifold at the top of the injector. I thought it was serviced separately.......
Tony302600
Cannot service it...already been down that road. on Edit.... The HP oil is what seats it. I wiggled it around, when i was bored, and got it loose....then air leak tested the HP system. Had air leak at all 4 injector tops. Cranked the engine over til i saw over 500psi ICP....rechecked...air leak gone. ( i was bored and wanted to test Hotline's answer to one of my questions )
