Bruce Amacker
Hey Guys: I'm told the Alliant Power AP0002 6.0 injector o-ring kit is now including the D-ring and snapring on the HP inlet at the top. It's very cheap and I ordered one, should have it tomorrow. Larry, can you verify this?
LARRY BRUDZYNSKI
Bruce you are correct on this and it does come with the D-ring and clip. Alliant Power just came out with these. Over the counter $10.32.
Keith Browning
I do have a concern about this though. I vividly recall my first encounter with one of these d-rings in the injector inlets. I played around with it a little and found removing the snap ring a wee-bit difficult. I am sure I scraped up the injector doing it and likely created metal debris. cochran
Everyone should be very careful with this kit. The components in the top of the injector (snap ring, ferrule ring, and d-ring) have to be in the correct order and correct orientation. If there's any (and I do mean ANY) damage to the top of the injector, it could result in snap ring failure. Most of you have seen examples of this failure.
