No. There is nothing good to say about a member losing access rights to our community regardless of the reason or situation surrounding it. As far as the locked topic goes, it had become more about the poster than the topic in a unnecessarily negative and somewhat disrespectful way. I really have nothing else to say about it.

I think we handled it exactly how it should have been. His view was the total perception of the "people" on powerstroke sites that bash "stealership's." This was the first chance for us to defend ourselves.

 

He poked....we retaliated. I'm glad Keith stopped it before it turned into one of the uneducated, ignorant forum's that bash everything and everyone, when in actuallity the people bashing are the cause.

I don't come on for a couple a days and I miss a drama thread?!

 

No fair!!!!!!

 

We get these alot on the Indian motorcycle forum I'm active in. They can be a fun read but can also get pretty nasty, so if Keith locked a thread I'm guessing he had good reason.

 

I don't envy a site owner or administrator.

I'm not sorry... I spoke from my heart.... I wont pretend to be diplomatic... I wont pretend to be politically correct...

 

I'm blunt, abrupt, candid, brutally honest and I tend to get in your face. I mean no ill will... I will, however, force-feed anyone the opportunity to be the best tech that they can ever hope to be... and reap the rewards. There are times that I try to "soften the blow", lap them up.... Unfortunately, reality has a way of being "unpleasant" more times than we would like....

 

Learning to deal with reality without driving ourselves over some "edge" can be as much a talent a fixing todays trucks... and it is something we all desparately need to do.

 

All I wish is that I knew what I know now 30 years ago....
