6.4 popping through intake on decel

have a 08 f350 6.4 liter popping through intake on decel kinda like a 6.0 does with a stuck unison ring,no codes any ideas on the problem.Vehicle has 34000 miles and just started doing it.i'm new to the 6.4 and lost on where to go.thanks for any ideas and help

Check your DPF regeneration PID. If it is regenerating (active), it's normal.

Yes... I recall noticing that a 6.4L during regen will make a turbo flutter sound similar to the 6.0L during sudden deceleration. Good call Alex!

Or have a look at TSB 07-04-11. It will give you characteristics to help you determine if it is regenerating without having to hook up your IDS.

used the tsb for help,was doing a regen and was normal for the vehicle thanks guys
