Keith Browning
Thumbs up for StreamLight for customer service and their product warranty. I recently had a * problem with my Twin-Task 3C flashlight and returned it to them under the provisions of their limited lifetime warranty. I got an brand new light in return. Not bad for a flash light I actually found and it only cost $10 shipping. This is no big deal I suppose but I was impressed and would buy another. The light itself is awesome to begin with so I recommend them. * Problem = I left the light leaning against a turbo in an Econoline and went for a road test. The light still worked but the lens melted out of it and the switch no longer worked. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/blush.gif
Brad Clayton
I did the same thing with my mac 30 led light. I only had the ambulance on high idle in my bay for 10 minutes or so before I sent out the search party looking for my light. She now has that weathered look. SteveS
That is outstanding service if they will guarantee that the customer can't damage it (apparantly) no matter what. I was using a Stinger rechargable for quite a while, the only problem with it was that I also damaged the lens. My Mac dealer replaced it at no charge and I thought that he was just doing it as a courtesy, but maybe Streamlight reimburses him. I was carrying that light in the pocket on the side of my right thigh in my coveralls and it would frequently slide out if I used a creeper, then the creeper would roll over the top of it and scuff it on the floor. I have changed to a StreamLight Jr. Luxeon that clips to my breast pocket and really like it. I keep a couple sets of rechargable AA batteries and just keep cycling them through the flashlight and the camera that I use at work. It's good to know that there are still some great companies out there!

HeuiTim
I have the little Streamlight pen light with the blue led. I am on my second one. The work good, only problem is they can make it all the way down into the oil pan from the top. But I found out they fit through oil pan drains and are very oil proof, light was still on by the time I retreived it. Someone needed it more than me(or I left it somewhere, I like to blame everyone else first)I have had better luck with my new bright blue one, shows up better than my black one.
