Torqued_Up
I have done two with both the injector and engine sensor harnesses and three with just the injector harness. I have not been told to replace any sensors by the hotline but if I see a problem other than a potential wiring failure I correct that first. Yes the sensor harness sucks to do especially the CKP!!! Do you remove the AC compressor or do you just try to snake it in there cause thats tight. I have trouble fishing the connector through and I really try to avoid removing the compressor because I hate doing that too! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif
snw blue by you
I have tried both ways, and have come to the conclusion, that it is just easier to remove the compressor than try and fight with the harness. Note: I did not say easy, but easier. I use a 10 & 13 gear rachet, or something similar One w/ a swivel head seems to work best. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/boxing.gif

Keith Browning
I have been fighting myself not to mess with the A/C but thanx to you guys I am gonna try it next time. That crank sensor connector is a pain in the butt to get at and I sometimes waste a lot of time due to my persistence, soooo YES! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/notworthy.gif I will try it with the compressor out...I will try...I will try....really I will! Keith Browning
I just did another fuel injector harness for cutting out. A manifold bolt near the FICM cut through and grounded an injector circuit. I also want to say that when I got my new harness it appeared to have been redesigned since the last one I did or at least as I remember. The harness # was 4C3Z-9C891-AB. I also noticed that these harnesses have additional or new retainer clips that require changing some flat manifold bolts to stud bolts to be used properly. The wrapping on the harness also looks thicker in certain places. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif Just thought I would pass this on! Dale Lakin
Looks as though that harness will work on Eng serial #6155637 and up (Indy built) and 94581 and up (Huntsville built) 9/22/03 and up 03-04 models can't find squat on the 05-06 models though under that basic. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banghead.gif
