snw blue by you
I've always thought that the '08 got it's styling cues from the early Super Duty, and if the styling on the upcoming Super Duty stays the same as the spy photo I think the family genes are even stronger. I've never been able to name these series of trucks except everyone I've ever seen said Super Duty, and if your old enough you probably had the Matchbox tow truck version of it. I think these are vintage '61 or so. Any old timers (no offense meant) know the exact series? JIM!
LARRY BRUDZYNSKI
I'm not 100% positive but I believe that those series trucks were only designated by F-1,F-2,F-3,F-4,F-5 and so on depending on the size of the truck, unless they were cabover's which were C-CF-CT designations. Nice touch adding Jim to the post /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbup.gif I know this gets a little off this topic but check it out, Mercury trucks...pretty cool http://www.wingedmessenger.net/Trucks.htm
mchan68
What kind of engines were they equipped with? I heard they were all gassers. 477/534 cu. in.? I would hate to have to pay for the fuel to keep one of those monsters gassed up at today's fuel prices!
