Oh fuck, I saw that a while back...that's BAD.

You'd think that the carport would withstand a little more than a trailer, the top part of that trailer should give before the friggin carport!

Aron, thanks for posting those pictures that are obviously from the same incident. After looking at them it looks like the occupants of the truck survived. Me and the Navi guy got that sick feeling looking at the video because in the video you only see one angle and I swear it looked like the truck cab was totally pancaked.

they lived, minor scratches. the driver had no seat belt on and was able to slide across the seat when the cab came down.

it was in Texas, so i am sure he got pissed off that it spilled his beer also lol.

PS....technically it would be a camper nightmare. RV's gots engines, campers get pulled. useless info, but what can i say, i am full of it today.

For some reason, looking up doesn't appear to be a big priority in most peoples lves... Even "professional" truck drivers disregard the signs that proclaim "Clearance 3.0 M" (not quite 10 feet) - usually at a time when traffic flow is at it's peak....

The first question is always "Are you OK?".. and I always pray that the answer will be "Yes..."... Because then I can ask "WTF were you thinking of you stupid bastard?".

The people of the town that this occured in should be thankful.... if a cheezy holiday trailer can bring down a structure like that, I wouldn't want to stand under it to get out of some bad weather.... And we follow that up with was this thing a code violation looking for something to squash? Os is every building in this town a question mark?

So... we have two important things we learned today... common sense isn't - and tomorrow, I go to Edmonton and do my best to make a dentist a very rich man....

But Saturday..... Somehow I got stuck working Saturday.... But Saturday night... I think Dwayne and I should work hard at hangover construction.... Using Kenny's credit card /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif

Notice, this happened right across from Auto Zone. Perhaps he could've had the "experts" run a "free diagnosis" to figure out what the truck needed for repairs after /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rofl.gif

Looks like this could be one hell of a piece of propoganda for oponents of seat belt laws. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif
