Tony302600
I need your opinions on a normal cold start crank for a 06 6.0. I'm talking overnight was 35 degrees first time it starts, then is fine the rest of theday. I know of Ford's 7 second rule (which is bullshit). SO just curious what you all think. I have one that cranks 5 seconds only on cold starts, hot starts is perfect. I'm leaning for normal.... Not DTC's nothing.
Alex Bruene
I wouldn't worry about it.
Shlep
Noticed some are like this even from day one and others fire almost right away.... /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/shrug.gif I consider it pretty normal.
Bruce Amacker
I wouldn't worry about it either, BUT, if it was mine or a close friend's I'd graph ICP and Syncs, and see why it doesn't fire right away. Good Luck! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
Mekanik
If it runs good when it fires up, I would consider it to be normal. The true test wilol be in a few months, sitting overnight in the icy tundra.
