Keith Browning
Anyone see this yet? Sounds like we have some thinkers over at Ford. Good examples of what engine cooling system conditions allow flushing and those that warrant engine replacement. It also gives you a good procedure for effectively flushing oil from the cooling system using 3 GALLONS of Simple Green and a list of parts to replace in the process. Steve Mutter
I wounder if you can claim 07-23-24 for oil in coolant and then claim 08-23-1 to clean the system? I like how they have pictures
Brad Clayton
I thought we had discussed this previously, and concluded that that sludge would adhere to the hoses and contaminate a flushed system until the Sun went super nova. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/scratchhead.gif
walleyewarrior
I was doubtful until I tried it last week.WOW does an amazing job AND your floor gets cleaned at the same time! It really does work!
jaysonfordtech
Yes you can claim the 2 tsb's together, I just did. Plus time to replace all of the swollen hoses. The 3 gallons of simple green does seem to do the trick.
