And with hearing that my friends is a good reason why the Big three are sucking big ass here in North America. The Big three are to blame for letting it get this bad with the ( As Jim says ) onions basically being in charge of the automotive operations here in North America. I don't believe in farming out to these other countries, but until there is major reform here it won't get any better. The big three are in business to make money if the "onions" are bleeding them dry what do you think they are going to do. I believe that Henry is turning over in his grave right now. Here's a good question??? Why do you think Ford built this plant in Brazil and not here??? Anybody??? That's right $$$$ If they can't make it here then they are going to build them somewhere else and bring these Foreign built vehicles here to compete with the Hondas,Toyotas,Etc, Etc. of the world. Guess what boys the Foreign Manufacturers have been doing it for a very long time and are seeing the Big three going down in flames and eating more and more sales that we should be seeing from our own manufacturers. Until Corporate America gets there heads out of their asses, we are all the ones to suffer. Another question... Why is it that we can now get outrageous discounts on new vehicles now, what about 3-4 even 10 years ago??? They are scrambling to stop the bleeding but won't do anything about the root cause. I believe in a man/woman making a fair wage for a honest day's work, But from what I have read here and what I've read and heard from the media and news I want to PUKE, just like Aaron did. Corporate Fat Cat's have to be accountable for their lack of action and greed. As I'm writing this I'm looking at a 09 F150 advertisement next to Keiths new logo, it brags about a bigger interior and flat load floor. So tell me who will be able to afford it??? The guy's working at a Foreign plant because they have a lower wage rate but will be employed for years to come because they are happy to be employed and recieve a honest wage, not because the "onions" are pushing unreasonable contracts that everyone knows is wrong but won't say or do anything about it. This kind of thing reminds me of a Teamsters company here local. PTS(E&L Transport)'s drivers went on strike because PTS asked for a wage reduction, what did PTS do while they were on strike...They closed the doors and went out of business, how many people will this have to happen to to realize that unless we get a grip on this greed we are all going to lose. How many plants are we going to lose to the Brazil's in the world to greed, how far will we sink before we wake up.

Alright my rant is over, I need another beer... /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cheers.gif
