Cross reference a filter kit

I have an International fuel filter kit part number of 1847170C93

This is for the VT 275 in the CF truck. I am wondering if these are the same filters used in the ford 6.0l application. My parts guy doesn't have a listing for the ford 6.0 but these VT275 filters look to be the same. Can someone cross reference or know for sure if they are interchangeable?

How about the oil filter on the VT 275. It is shorter than our VT 365. Does the 275 oil filter fit the 6.0 ford application? I'll get a part number on the oil filter if needed. Thank you.

Yes, the fuel filters you have from the VT275 are the same for the Ford 6.0L application. That is the same number I keep on my shelf for the Ford applications, as well as Fleetguard FS19797.

I am unsure on the oil filter cross however, I don't see any of the VT275 in my shop, but I use the Fleetguard LF16166 or International 1840752C91 for the 6.0 engines.

No. The 6.0L PSD is the same as the VT-375. The 4.5L PSD (LCF/CF) is the same as the VT-275. The fuel filters are the same for both the 275 and the 375 as you mentioned but the oil filters are indeed different. The VT-275 oil filter is shorter and will not work in a 6.0L PSD. Sure, you can snap it into the cap and screw it on but it wont close the drain valve at the bottom of the housing and may also allow oil to bypass the filter media at the bottom.
