But Gary, wasn't it the 30 years of supply side economics that set these events in motion in the first place. Supply side policies and the general deregulation that was put forward by many of the same people who like to deregulate gun laws???

Just thinking out loud here, but then I may not be thinking entirely clearly being how excited I am that my Milt Sparks holster finally showed up that I've been waiting 6 months for.
