Jim Warman
I just found out that IDS will now load under Windows XP Home... Ford doesn't offer any tech support for this.

Bruce Amacker
If you read the Tech Tips that show up when you do your daily IDS update, you'll see that XP Home has been a supported OS since January 22.
Jim Warman
Actually (he said as he watched himself drag the toe of his boot in the dirt), that is where I found it. I try to read tech tips whenever the come with updates... sometimes I'm like the butcher that backed into the meat grinder - I get a little behind in my work. FordTechCA
yeah it took ford way too long to let it work on all editions of XP, and for those wondering, it will never be made to work with Vista. those of you who like being ahead of the curve and playing with the latest greatest software, ford is skipping vista and going straight to windows 7. i havent tried it yet, but ive heard it will run on the beta version
Shlep
Runs fine on Vista as well, I have Vista Ultimate on my laptop and it actually runs quite well.
