Tony302600
Well, i have fallen victim to repeat repairs on my 04 explorer. I brought it in at 56,000 to have the rearend fixed for the whine noise, balljoints, etc etc. It was awesome for a while, 2,000miles later, the rear end starts whining again. I make a call, get it in again. Get it back monday, havent driven the car over 50mph til today...get on the highway, and holy jesus, the rearend gets louder and louder and louder the more i drive 55-70. Only 20miles on the car since the last repair. I'm not at all bashing, or talking shit, i just want to get this off my chest and hopefully someone that works there goes on here and will intervene. The thing that REALLY REALLY REALLY pissed me off is the 2nd time i get the car back, my gas gauge was WAAAYYYY below Empty. That is the one thing that irks me the most. But i was having a bad day and didnt wanna go back and explode. P.S. My fiance's Dodge nitro is at the dealer right now for the 4th time with a evap leak. LoL. what is this world coming to. Tony302600
Tell Stephanie to put the damn gas cap on every now and then Dave We've been down that road, i told her....5 clicks and you're good. When i pulled into the service lane, a service writer that used to pick on me was writing me up. LoL. I gave him a hard time as a joke. What time are you going to the parkway show? ME and mark are leaving my place at
DamageINC
I think I'll meet up with you at your place then, might follow Mark down there too. I'd carpool with him but it turns out I may end up staying out that way after the show so we'll see... Dude, it's gonna be retarded though. It's a cool little venue but when you think about the fact that we just played there less than 2 months ago in front of like 15 people (it was a disaster but we had a blast) it's gonne be even that much more interesting. The stage is like a foot tall, if that. And it's LOUD there. Dave

If you don't mind driving up to McHenry I'll fix it. I already paid the deductible for my premium care. I think the case is the issue, because when i went on a test drive with the shop foreman it wasnt that loud, but you have to drive 20miles for it to start screaming. He was a real cool guy, i asked him if he was involved in my parents navigator rear-end that couldnt be replaced, needed a new case. Keith, I told him about this website, but i don't think he wrote it down. We will see what happens.
Mekanik
I'm suprised you didn't take it to Ron Tirapelli Ford where you used to work. How does it feel to be on the other side of the service desk? Haha
