robp823
I had a 6.4l that ingested a bunch of fuel/oil.Could this cause damage to the turbo???Wondering if i should replace?
Keith Browning
I think the better question is where did the fuel and oil come from? Did you just perform an engine repair that that involved fluid in the charge air cooler? Did the engine fail?
robp823
The engine failed and we got a complete engine for it by decision of service manager now they are fighting the claim

Why did they kick the claim?
Keith Browning
The engine failed and we got a complete engine for it by decision of service manager now they are fighting the claim Service Manager? You do know diesel engines require Hot-Line prior approval? Don't feel bad, they just kicked our claim for that engine with the damaged block that THEY approved.
