sixturbosix Posted June 6, 2009 Share Posted June 6, 2009 I can't remember the last time Ford ask us to send an egr cooler back after a warranty repair and we are defenitly not a level 1 dealer.I know of 9 or 10 bad cooler we have laying in the shop right now.Only if it is an ESP claim over a certain dollar amount do they ever check and then they send a contracted warranty guy out.All he wants to see is an underwater test of the cooler and he is satisfied.They must be harder on some dealers than others.Our diesel warranty numbers are always borderline red which also seems unfair when you are a small dealer in the mountains where 3 out of 5 people drive a diesel truck whether if they need it or not.Most don't.
