What is everyones view of Ford / Motorcraft Cetane Booster? it has been out for approx 8 months now and Ford has sold approx 4 times more than they expected to. Does your dealership stock it? Does the Anti Gel perform up to par? Just interested to get knowlegable and informative answers. FYI part # is PM-17-A and PM-18-A. For those in Canada it is PM-17-B and PM-18-B. My company thinks highly enough if the product to let us buy it and expense it to maintinence. We use it every tank.

For those that have notice that there are bottles that are identical to the PSD stuff at Oreillys and other aftermarket places made by Gold Eagle. That is the company that makes Fords. They also have the Anti-Gel and i think two other diesel fuel poducts. Same maker as 104+ for gas.

Typically I don't think most of us use them unless we own a diesel, which amazingly, I do not! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/eek.gif I do on occasion install some in trucks that get towed in with gelled fuel. Those trucks usually get a 1/2 bottle and are pushed into my warm toasty shop at the end of the day to defrost overnight. I should ask the guys at our retail counter if they are moving any.

I would definitly use and recomend it..I've used other stuff in the past but had a bit of experience with it recently.. Had an EGR with the "pastey" coking on it, no blockage, just wet and messy.. Intake was the same.. Obvious fuel quality issue.. Anyhow, actually OD'd it a bit ant poured 1 hole bottle into 1/2 tank and drove the piss out of the truck. Pulled the EGR again after about 50mi and it was noticibly drier, even the intake and exhaust pipe were cleaning up.. After that I poured the correct mixture in my wheels and noticed relatively quickly, that the engine got quieter, performed better and got about 1MPG better on that tank than the last..
