Just playing around today. I notice that FICMs have changed up from 4C3Z-12B599-AARM to 4C3Z-12B599-ABRM. Both are good numbers but the ABRM is cheaper than AARM. What gives? Also noticed the STC fitting kit changed up from 4C3Z-9B246-C to 4C3Z-9B246-D. Onto oil coolers, I notice that 3C3Z-6A642-AA has changed up to 3C3Z-6A642-BA, and 3C3Z-6A642-CA is just the core that we all know about and just absolutely love. Yet, NONE of the three are available locally. WTF?

Yeah. I had a truck apart for almost TWO WEEKS waiting for that 6a642 "OIL COOLER REBUILD KIT"

Throw the instructions in the garbage, by the way - it tells you all sorts of fancy o-ring colors - they are all black.

I know. I've already done one. More work for less pay. Hooray.

Huh? I just did one today,(3C3Z-6A642-CA) and took lots of pics. The instructions were just about worthless and didn't mention any colored o-rings.

Oh wow, my instructions were WAAAY different. 5+ pages, back and front. International logos all over the place.

I actually read them, first one I've done and I didn't want the fucker to leak.

Bruce, remember the Canadians get things in color... it started with the cash and now o-rings. Posted Image

The last one I did was about two weeks ago and the instructions looked like yours. We currently have three trucks down waiting for oil coolers and expect the parts in 6/19. Maybe they have since upgraded the instructions?

Does anyone have the "5 page" set of instructions still laying around? I'm kind of pissed that I didn't get them. I gotta teach this stuff, and I gotta know what I'm doing. I spent $250ish on that oil cooler that will likely never even go into a truck....

Thanks!

Mail, fax, hand deliver, whatever you want.

Turbo Training

PO Box 361584

Strongsville, Ohio 44136

fax-330-220-7404 (but I won't get them for a while because the fax machine is at Secretary #1's house and she goes on vacation tomorrow morning for 2 weeks).

Mail would probably be the quickest way to get them to me, or scan, PDF, and e-mail.

Lunch is on me, however you choose.

THANKS!
