Jim Warman
Young sir... that be Canadas flag... not the cocktail napkin that flies above your local post office, but the very real flag that Canada had up until the Liberals, in about 1965, cowed to a special interest group.... Google "Red Ensign". Apologies to Dwayne... the crest represents the FOUR original provinces.
Jim Warman
Speaking of that cocktail napkin.... does anyone remember when this happened? Yes, that is a US Military honour guard. They are presenting the colours during the singing of the national anthems before game 2 of the 1992 world series. The Toronto Blue Jays bested the Atlanta Braves 5-4. LARRY BRUDZYNSKI
Aaron, You forget who replied??? That is the National Flag of Canada from 1957-1965. Happy Canada Day!!! DwayneGorniak
Yes, this is the original Canadian Flag. Jim educated me and quite a few others at work all about it. It was the original Flag before the whining French losers complained about the Union Jack on the flag. Don't forget that the British kicked the snot out of the French and liberated this country. What I find sad, is the fact that Jim had to educate myself and many others on the history of our Flag. They didn't teach us crap in school about this. I find that extremely sad because I find myself at age or 36 now trying to learn about history on websites like Wikipedia. Here is a little history about the flag for ya all: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_Red_Ensign Oh yeah, and happy birthday English Canada. The original Canada that could speak to each other without wanting to separate.

Jim Warman
Would you believe that she appears to have lost a LOT of weight - at one point in time there was a cruel joke going around about her being the worlds largest land mammal (looks like Kirsti Ally is taking that one over). Yes, I remember that incident quite well, thank you very much. I think even the US president had publicly apologized for that one. We were being asked not to retaliate when it came time to play on our turf, if I recall correctly. That was the same year the Toronto Maple Laughs had their best playoff season too.
