Aaron
Guy in the next bay is doing an oil cooler/EGR cooler pair on a 2006 (i THINK) F-250. He calls me over and says have a look at this. The bolt on the driver's side of the turbo to pedestal isn't a 10mm. It's a 17mm. We both think that's kind of odd, but figure a butcher's been in there fucking about. So he gets the turbo off and there's a bracket bolted to the HPOP cover that buts up against the pedestal. Two bolts into the top of the HPOP cover and then this thing. Anyone ever seen this before? It's a first for me. Does anyone know it's function?
sixturbosix
I guess it is an oem turbo and not some kind of upgraded turbo.First one I have ever seen like that.

Aaron
Quiet you Seriously in all the 6.0's I've worked on, I've never seen this before, and never had a customer complaint as such on the R.O. However, I did notice that "neutralizing the exhaust" pays quite well.
