Fuel Bleed Kit

FWIW.... we have a gasoline fuel pressure test kit that is pretty comprehensive.... A large selection of banjo bolts and (naturally) a Schrader valve connection. I mention this since some shops may be a little shy on tool budgets or a tech may want to have his own stuff....

Rather than purchase a dedicated tool.... visit the tools you already have.

Note that the banjo bolt is not hollow on the ford kit, it blocks all return fuel from reentering, and forces it out the hose. I have used parts from our fuel pressure test kit, but it failed to remove all air bubbles once and left me stranded halfway out of the shop. I also tried to put a ballcock on our ford issued one, which is how i discovered the blocked off banjo bolt. PS.. dont do that, it cant be shut off.

This bleed tool really only needs to be used when the engine has been apart or the customer/technician has run it out of fuel or without bleeding the system after a filter change or fuel system repair. Like Chris mentioned it blocks off the return and it will remove air from the engine fuel system quite efficiently but if you have only opened the low pressure supply system, like when servicing the filters, you need only cycle the ignition six to eight times for thirty second intervals.
