kevin phillips Posted July 27, 2009 Share Posted July 27, 2009 Anybody know what the ground is for on rear drivers intake manifold stud?I have one with some crazy starting issues at times and found the ground not connected and was wondering what issues could be caused by it.Is it a ficm ground?thanks guys i haven't been able to found any references to it in the shop manual. Keith Browning Posted July 27, 2009 Share Posted July 27, 2009 That is ground G110 and it is the fuel injector harness shield ground. The ground wire is loosely wrapped around the injector circuits and is also in contact with that foil tape that the harness is wrapped in. Aaron Posted July 30, 2009 Share Posted July 30, 2009 Might need a harness, check the harness between the takeout near the fuel filters and the cam sensor, they chafe up against the fuel lines and shit, I've seen that a lot.
