Jeff Adema
Looks like diesel technology spilling into gasoline-land.
DwayneGorniak
Has anyone had a good look at these on a hoist yet? Man, those turbos are small. They look like a 6.4L coughed up a carbon ball and crapped out wee wittow baby turbo's. I just can't get over how small they are.
Aaron
I drove a flex with ecoboost today. Man does that fucker get at 'er!
dieseldoc
I can't wait until my local dealer gets one. I want to test drive one. The wife is looking into getting a new car and we were thinking a fusion. However the new taurus SHO finally doesnt look ugly and with an eco-boost. . . . . imagine the driveability it probably has. I saw the price tag though and that hurt a little.
Jim Warman
We had our first new car up on the hoist today during the PDI... From the look of it, this is one vehicle that will make diesel techs feel good about being diesel techs...

Aaron
All I have to add, is if you're going to jump on this thing, make sure you got it pointed straight ahead
Jeff Adema
It's nice to read in that article that the engineers at least talked about designing the fuel system in a holistic manner, rather than just using the parts bin approach. We're looking for a replacement pretty soon for the trusty family sedan, maybe I'll need to get something with one of these rockets under the hood. Keith Browning
I am optimistically impressed with what I have learned so far with this Ecoboost program. Now we just need to see how well it was all put together and how well it all stays together.
