2004 with the first high oil pump

does anyone have a picture of the old style 6.0 pump?,I have one that I think the ball plug came out in the drivers side of the high pressure oil pump,I have had a look at the pump and it does not look like it is there but I was just woulder if anyone had a nice picture of the pump, just want to see how it should look,thanks

I took the pump out and now that it is out I can clearly see that there is no ball plug in the pump and I hope the ball ended up in the oil pan,have not done to many old style pumps I just did not know what it should look like,anyways now I know

Bang on the pan with a rubber mallet, you should here the ball jump in the pan. A guy i used to work with dropped a hp pump bolt once, and it made it to the pan.

I dropped an 8mm wobly - made it to the pan - bought a set of locking extensions the next day - hasn't happened again!
