I know we've discussed this before, and I think I even uploaded a picture of it, but once again the search engine lets me down and I can't find it. Here's a Radicool tester listed on Ebay:

The Search function works fine... almost too good and that is the problem we sometimes face. If you don't initially get usable results by using the pop-up search box, select the Advanced Search option. Clicking on Advanced Search Tips will give you examples on using better search terms for example, typing in "coolant flow tester" AS A PHRASE WITH THE QUOTES returns the link below and this thread. Just be sure to adjust the date and forum selections as appropriate. Posted Image

This should probably be in the 6.0 forum but since we are talking about coolant flow meters. Has anybody tried to test water pump pressure on a 6.0? I have a service truck truck in the fleet(05 F-550 auto, 130,000 miles) The fan runs quite frequently sometimes only for a few seconds and sometimes for minutes at a time. I havent had time to look into it at all yet. I have read about many cavitated front covers here. I would think if there is a way to measure water pump pressure it would be a good way to find a cavitated cover, just a thought. I works well for us on cat engines. I have found two broken water pump shafts and a plugged oil cooler by checking water pump pressure. Would be nice if it woould work on these engines. Thoughts?
