Picture Request, 6.0 E-Vans

Hey Guys:

I see a lot more 6.0 F-models than I see Econoline vans and I could use more pictures of van repairs for my training program. Injector R&R, upper engine repair, head gasket, pretty much anything I could be interested in. Trading and/or compensation is a possibility. E-mail me anything you have in a compressed state to bamacker@aol.com and I’ll take a look. If you get a van in, shoot some extra pictures while it’s in the shop.

A fellow tech did injectors in one a while back.

He had to remove the motor mounts and drop the engine down to gain access to the injectors.

The dealership I'm at, we used to get Ford test vehicles.

About a year before the 4.2L V6 was available in the vans, we got one in and Ford wanted to pull the engine out.

They had us pull the body off for the repairs.

It would be nice to have a flip forward front end to do repairs a-la Chevy Kodiak.

We Just did a short block on 05 econoline and we pulled the body off. I gotta lock for the pics.

you can slide it out ft withouth removing entire body . take all ft body bolts only leave in rears jack body and put 4x10 x10 wood block in then mootr will come out ft . its tight but will come out . sorry no pics

Part number for the engine adapter has been updated,

Bracket: D83T-6000-B is now a 303-D043 $879.81

Adapters: 303-D043-01 and -02 ($68 and $55)

Availability: July 18.
