Keith Browning
Have fun getting claims paid for an IPR. This is only an FMC Dealer article, not an SSM or TSB... at least I can't find one at this very moment.

Mikill
Maybe they realize that the screen doesn't fix it. The problem is stuck inside the valve not the hole in the screen.
Keith Browning
Oh, sorry about that folks, we had our heads up our asses for a moment... The Stop Sale on 3C3Z-9H529-A–6.0L IPR Screen Kit is No Longer in Effect Stop Sale Issue: Engineering had released a stop sale on 2/12/10 for 3C3Z-9H529-A over a concern the kit may have contained an incorrect o-ring. Engineering Review: 3C3Z-9H529-A contains all of the proper parts. The o-ring supplier had changed and this new supplier uses a different numbering system which caused the concern. Dealers are free to use the kits that they have in stock and again place orders from Ford. Thank you for your understanding. The "Stop Sale" message was first posted to ensure that quality parts are available to service our mutual customers.
LARRY BRUDZYNSKI
In a nutshell...... We think we fucked up so stop selling them and we will make it really hard on the claims process....... Oh shit we fucked up again the parts are ok now, but still make it a bitch to get paid...... Did I get it right??????
gasgasman
Same person must have signed off on the cruise control harness recall. "Here, put this fused harness in and all will be good". "Oh wait, the fuse is on the wrong circuit".
Mekanik
They made it sound DEADLY serious, telling everyone to quarantine their parts departments.
