Jim Warman
This is an actual, honest to God help request from i-ATN... "This car actually has a 351W. The problem I have is that I have to replace the head gaskets. My question is which way do the gaskets go? The reason I ask is this is the second time around. Both gaskets have front stamped on them. (That is where the coolant ports are cut out) I have been told one goes to the back...and...both go to the back for proper cooling." I am fucking lost for words... Aaron
When all else fails, read the instructions. I remember awhile back now buying a Holley Carburetor, and in the box, on the front of the instructions it said something to the effect of: "At least the first time, try it our way, please follow the instructions." Bruce Amacker
Several years ago when I was doing pre-testing for Midas, I gave the students a regular 15 question multiple choice test. The directions stated, "Do not answer questions one and two. Answer all other questions to the best of your ability." You wouldn't believe how many guys answered all of them.... Jim Warman
I can't remember where it was, but we had a test like that... The instructor was very explicit "Read throught the entire test before you answer any questions". Question 50 was a statement... "do not answer any questions". Not one person passed.... nobody... nada...
Keith Browning
That's awesome! I think all training courses should have one of those tests just to prove a point.
Aaron
Same thing, about the 56h or 6th grade. Right on the test. 1. Read all test questions before starting the test. ... 51. Now that you have finished reading the test questions, answer only 1, 3, and 7.
