Fredsvt
Hey everyone, Sorry if this is in the wrong place. Is the '11 Edge available yet, or when is it supposed to be? I've got a friend who's very interested in one. Thanks
Aaron
We had one at our dealer as a demonstrator from FoMoCo, as well as a Fiesta. That was two weekends ago. We now have our first fiesta in stock, so I would assume the edge is not too far behind.

headviking
I work in Oakville< Canada at the assembly plant. We have not got the OK to ship the 2011 Edge/MKX as of yet. If you liked the 2010 you'll love the 2011.
Jim Warman
This is a link to an article on the car. It will have or be available with the select shift trans.
Fredsvt
The sport is the one that's being looked at. Damn, wanted to go out and see them this weekend, but I guess they're not at dealers yet. It looks like it comes with a lot more equipment that the other that its being compared to. And more power doesn't hurt either.

Aaron
In my various nights of researching different things, I located a very interesting tear-tag...which identifies itself as an F-150 with a 5.0L V8.....
Brad Clayton
Quote: I've got a friend who's very interested in one Tell him to set some pennies aside if he gets one. With 22 inch wheels, it's gonna cost him at least a "grand" evertime he needs a set of tires.
gasgasman
Each tire is $400.
Fredsvt
I looked up the tires on tirerack.com, the Pirelli tires are up there, but there's a range of others in that size from $162. Not bad considering my '99 Lightning's tires are getting really rare and damn expensive. Trying to find non-Goodyear is the trick too. It's gonna be driven by someone who's fairly easy on things, but this person's going to have to learn to avoid potholes. Have they shipped yet? Itching to go comparison shopping on the choices. Brad Clayton
Quote: IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR P265/40R22 LOW-PROFILE TIRES AND WHEELS If your vehicle is equipped with P265/40R22 tires, they are low-profile tires. These tires and wheels are designed to give your vehicle a sport appearance. With low-profile tires, you may notice an increase in road noise and faster tire wear, depending on road conditions and driving styles. Due to their design, low-profile tires and wheels are more prone to road damage from potholes, rough or unpaved roads, car wash rails and curb contact than standard tires and wheels. Your vehicle’s warranty does not cover these types of damage. Tires should always be kept at the correct inflation pressures and extra caution should be taken when operating on rough roads to avoid impacts that could cause wheel and tire damage. I lifted this from the owners manual (I was reading it because I pdi'd one and couldnt figure out how to work half the shit). I see this being a problem for people who have never driven a lowered vehicle or one with custom wheels and low pro tires.
