Keith Browning
I know this is old news but it seems to be missing from our forum. I have never had the pleasure of installing one of these, nor did I recall it only fits MY 1999-2003? I guess people with the older trucks have to deal with the stock oval filter housing... SKU: FA-1759 Manufacturer: Motorcraft Ford number: 2U2Z-9K635-AA Part Type: Air Filter Fits Year(s): 1999-2003 Engine Type: 7.3 Liter Make: Ford Model(s): F250-550,Excursion
Brad Clayton
I have put quite a few of these in. They are the cats ass so to speak. If you are doing one of the early 99 or "98" models with the small turbo you will also have to replace the air duct that goes from the filter housing to the crankcase depression regulator inlet adaptor. I have the part number at work, its kinda tricky to hunt down on the microphish.

Bruce Amacker
Try XC3Z-9B959-AA. I also have XC3Z-9B659-AA in my notes but that might be a misprint. If you have an early 99 built before 12/17/98, and still have the original air box opening into the fender, you will also need the clean air hose, P/N XC3Z-9B659-AA, that runs from the air box to the collar above the valve cover. Good Luck!
