batmantech
This is the first filter I have seen that was coming apart from the housing. The inside of the intake tube covered in dust. I hope it did'nt cause to much damage. (I posted the photo but can't seem to get it to display here)

Bruce Amacker
Napa has a no questions asked policy on failures like that. Take it back, even though you didn't buy it. Good Luck!
jimmy57
Does it have any telltale evidence of having been knocked around to "clean" it? I have seen a genuine blue paper de-bond and the core slip out on a filter that had obvious scrapes/dents on edges and on that mount tab on middle of filter.
