So what do you ghouls do on Halloween?

Me, I am taking the little ones out after dark and of course I dress for the occasion. I have had some good costumes which are all neatly tucked away. This year it's a black cape and black hood with the face blacked out and glowing red eyes...

It brings me joy to scare the shit outta little kids. Posted Image

That is if my little one lets me. Posted Image

My wife's out of town, I'll be at home handing out candy (actually this year it's granola bars) and hanging out. She made me promise not to wear my masks and scare little kids at the door. I've got a great devil's mask, and a full Frankenstein outfit.......

Pat's (my wife) sister lives in Woodland Hills, CA, a suburb of LA. She's at the bottom of the hills separating WH from Malibu, and the kids don't want to walk the steep hills so they all flood her neighborhood at Halloween. Their usual count is 600+ kids before shutting the lights off, but the cool thing is that it's LA and a lot of the people are "in the industry", meaning the TV/entertainment/movie industry. Not only do the kids have super cool zillion dollar outfits but the parents do too. Pat's been going out there for at least 5 years just to see the freak show we call Halloween.

So here I am, it's over now and I gave out about 40-50 granola bars.

Wippidee do.

We had more kids than we've had in a lot of years...

Tonight I dressed up like a fat old curmudgeon... Most parents still recognized me.

Friday I wore a really neat costume at work. I dressed up as a mechanic... even had dirty hands. OK... so maybe it wasn't real imaginitive.... but my costume was authentic looking Posted Image

I wasn't planning on doing anything for Halloween but I was dragged out to some bars last night for a couple hours.

Prior to heading out I had shaved my beard into a dirty moustache for "Mo-vember" (grow/wear a moustache for the month of November in support of prostate cancer). I threw on my denim tuxedo, grabbed my work boots and bass pro hat and headed out...made sure to drink nothing but budweiser last night....

On Friday I helped out at the school's Halloween Party dressed as Abe Lincoln. Friday night I went to a neighbor's party, and on Sunday I took my wife and kids trick-or-treating. We love Halloween and me and my wife always dress.
