Keith Browning
I have read that opening up the fuel lines to the cylinder heads on the 7.3L as well as the banjo bolts can have a positive effect on performance. Does anyone have any experience with this? Does this help a stock engine or is this modification really only help tuned engines with performance injectors or tuners? PowerstrokeRacer
We generally see a 20rwhp increase with the regulated return mod. In most cases the engines run smoother and quieter. The HX mod is also another cheap fix that can quiet the engine as well as increase performance. Last but not least getting rid of the quick connects at the tank and pump inlet will also do wonders for the 7.3.
Keith Browning
So what you are describing are various methods of increasing fuel pressure. Is this the objective?
