dermo1 Posted January 18, 2011 Share Posted January 18, 2011 Any one haveing concerns of 6.7 not warming up to operating temp in cold weather.We have had about half a dozen through town thay cooldown at stoplights and olny blow warm air,it is olny on trucks without instance heat systems. That's just Ford's way of saying "I don't know why it's doing that, we'll look into it and issue a recall/tsb later." Haven't seen them myself, but then again, I don't live in the frigid cold! Jim Warman Posted January 19, 2011 Share Posted January 19, 2011 So far, the only 6.7 heater complaint I've heard is about window fogging and only on one truck so far. The 6.4 can be a cold hearted pig at low idle. Considering that there is a lot of cold air drawn through the cylinders of an idling diesel and precious little fuel injected to maintain idle.
