Allen
We have a 2001 4x4 F550 Wrecker with the 7.3 liter motor. The wrecker hydraulics are operated by a belt driven pump off the crank pulley. I need to increase the engine RPM's when we are operating the wrecker hydraulics, but we can not figure out how to do this. Is there a kit or PCM reprogram we can get? Thanks in advance. LARRY BRUDZYNSKI
Allen, you didn't say if the truck came with a pto or if you had one added. If the truck came with one the part# you will need is XC3Z12B641AA If it did not have one the part# is XC3Z12B641BA The manufacturer of the idle up kit is Sturdy you should be able to get them directly or get them from Ford. Allen
The vehicle does not have a PTO, all of the hydraulics are powered off the belt driven pump. Thanks the information Later ~ Allen
