tecanic1 Posted July 11, 2006 Share Posted July 11, 2006 2003 f450 crew cap ...towed in crank no start ..diag high pressure oil concern pinpointed to high oil pump ..replaced and starts and runs upon road test truck stalls and restarts ???? road test with Pd's and found icp to dropping and truck will hiccup but not stall all the time .... retest system with concerns ..recheck ipr and is reading 8% at idle ... replaced ipr and now is reading 12% at idle ..reroadtest and truck stalls ..icp drops and truck is no start..did noticed oil gauge on dash taking a long time to register when it does register truck will start...back at shop check base engine oil and has plenty ...this appears to be oil related or ipr electrical related but able to isolate which ....trucks goods 75% of the time ...icp drops at 1800 to 2000 rpm and will go from 2000rpm to 600 rpm then catch it self ..... any help greatly appreciated /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banghead.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crybaby2.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/confused.gif Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Joey Kaylor Posted July 11, 2006 Share Posted July 11, 2006 tried overfilling it? could be a cracked pickup causing aeration sometimes /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/shrug.gif when it does stall, have you checked the level in the HPOP?
