Keith Browning
Somebody posted a video of a broken up 6.7L On the Diesel Stop.
Mike Jeanotte
Well there intelligence shows in blaming the glowplugs. I think if I posted something like that calling our product a piece of shit. I would be forced to look for a job.
Keith Browning
They did mention the exhaust valve problem but you caught onto the less than professional discussion... It is hard to fly like an eagle when you are walking with talking like turkeys.
DieselD
isnt the internet great? bad press spreads so much easier then good.... Its a machine and out of the countless trucks being sold and on the road some are bound to break. I really wish people would just educate themselves a bit before running their mouth about something they really dont know anything about

Jim Warman
I saw that too....be interesting to know the "rest of the story". This afternoon we got a call from a 6.7 owner with a glow plug code - can he drive this on his holiday (glow plugs are no stock USA). "We can't answer that at this time... we haven't seen any glow plug problems with these engines so we just don't know....". That's the story and we're stickin' to it. JSHTech
Well darn, I didn't get to view it.
Bruce Amacker
You didn't miss anything, it was an amateur video shot by an assumed tech, probably at a dealer although I don't remember evidence of this. He used a lot of typical Ford bashing, calling it a piece of shit etc, very crude, rude, and profane. If I were his mgr. and found out about this video, he would be history with the company. Maybe that's what happened. I still feel this engine has a better rollout than the last few diesels. :-
deezul
Never was able to see the video either but, you can pull any engine/vehicle apart. Nothing is perfect and the 6.7L is a lot nicer than the last couple of deisels. Even the "workhorse" 5.9(6.7) Cummins has its fair share of issues. I sure did love the quote of "It's hard to fly like an eagle when you are talking like turkeys" had a good chuckle over that because clearly, from what I've read, that guy was an idiot who shot the video.
