module programming or reprogramming not available

recently left ford dealership to work with an independant,purchased ids through ford, no problems for 3 months. now I have a 2005 escape that needs plugs, coils, and pcm, my ids tells me module programming not available.Can anybody tell me what I am missing? Again thanks in advance for any input.

i think the database needs to be updated.

Yep, once your IDS version is too old it dissallows programming.

thanks for the help, thought I was up to date. will update right now.

You should be downlading and installing IDS 73, then run the updater and update to IDS 73.05 which is current as of today.
