mchan68
Okay guys, I need your help here. I have a 6.0L that I'm in the middle of buttoning back together. I can't seem the locate this part anywhere in Microcat. Here's the pciture: Please tell me I don't need to hoop the customer even more than this job is already costing him, by having to buy the whole top cover of the cooler. Part numbers would help. Keith Browning
My parts specialist advises me that part appears to only come with the 6881 oil filter adapter. I have never seen it separate, but then I have never gone looking for one.

blown99
You can get them separately from IH. Comes in a kit with the oil filter standpipe and the bypass valve.

Jim Warman
"Hoop the customer even more"? "Hooping" would indicate that we feel we are fucking the guy over... I don't think that this is the case, but we should try to choose our words carefully... Because it doesn't matter what I think... the guy you are trying to impress owns the truck in your bay... And if you don't impress him - somebody else will.
blown99
Part number??? I had the parts guy check and he could not come up with it or the kit that it came in. I seem to recall it being in the oil filter standpipe tube kit but once he breaks the kit down it does not show it. Doesn't mean it is not in the physical package though. I'll keep it in the back of my head for the next one that comes in broken.
