ETS
Is there an aftermarket substitute for Premium Gold Coolant used in 6.0 and others? Prestone Yellow all makes and models? All we use at our shop is Green Glycol and Dexcool which I have recently learned here is not compatible with these engines.
Fredsvt
Premium Gold is essentially G-05. Zerex sells it, by the name G-05. http://www.valvoline.com/pdf/zerexg05.pdf
Alex Bruene
I see this is a very old thread, as I don't normally venture in to the parts forum... But, why aftermarket? Is there an issue with getting Premium Gold from a Ford dealership?
Steve Mutter
Is that Zerex coolant cheaper? Ford Gold is like $32 for a jug.
Alex Bruene
Really? I've got 30 jugs in my garage that I'll let go for $200 then.
