bward84
So heres the deal, an 06 f250 game in customer says that after warming up wont start. checked icp reads 20-40psi when warm, after cooling off icp reads good. pulled the icp put air pressure in system could hear gurgling noise, pulled the branch tubes and dummy plugs, one had really bad o ring. replaced all 4 had to remove the high pressure rails to get the tubes out head. went to start icp comes up to 290 and just stops, swapped known good ipr, what are the odds that the bad as apposed to did I mess up an injector o-ring. With air pressure on it im not getting much air noise and theres not alot of it at the oil cap.
Fordracer
Could be a HPP fitting or the pump itself.
Matt Saunoras
Yes definitely replace the stc fitting if it hasn't already been done. Last 2 I did only leaked hot.
lmorris
Plus 1 on the STC fitting. Classic symptoms. Dummy plug orings usually give you a long crank cold. STC is usually a no start hot.
