Jim Warman
Caution!!! Memory thing happening. Until now, our winter has been curious... shirtsleeve weather (for those of us conditioned to the climate). Little snow to speak of... the farmers will have something to whimper about. The temps that hovered around 0C have now plunged to a more normal -30C and may be, in some areas, colder yet. And now we are having a rash of P208E DTCs in memory. The code suggests that the DEF injector is stuck closed. I think it is important to pay attention to how the PCM infers a stuck closed injector. I imagine that the eventual fix will be software related.
walleyewarrior
WE too have been getting a rash of them, and about 50 percent of them the injector are actually stuck closed. So i have been dilligent in pulling the injector out and doing the dosing test. i agree that there is probably a software issue that needs to be addressed but just to let you know that we have been replacing the actual injector too. Just something to look out for.
Jim Warman
So far I haven't had any repeat offenders.... not that we have time to fix them, anyway - currently booking 2+ weeks.
